We didn’t start this with a grand plan. No investor meetings, no content strategy decks, no five-year roadmap pinned to a wall. We started because we had things to say — and we couldn’t stop saying them.
Merlin Physio began as a personal space. A place to write about what genuinely caught our attention: a wellness habit worth sharing, a travel experience that stayed with us, a story about someone doing something quietly remarkable. Over time, more voices joined. More topics found their way in. And what started as a corner of the internet slowly became something we’re genuinely proud of.
What we write about
Life doesn’t organise itself into neat subjects, and neither do we. On any given week you might find an article about caring for orchids, a deep dive into safari culture in Tanzania, a piece on simplicity and mental health, or a profile of someone who built something meaningful against the odds. We write about what interests us — and we think curiosity, when it’s honest, is always worth following.
How we work
Every article on this site is written by a real person with a real point of view. We research before we publish. We edit before we post. We don’t chase word counts or fill pages for the sake of it. If something isn’t worth your time, we don’t publish it — simple as that.
We’re a small team. Some of us come from health and wellness backgrounds. Some from journalism. Some are just people who read obsessively and eventually had to start writing. What holds us together isn’t a job description — it’s the same stubborn belief that good writing, on any topic, is always worth making.
Why the name?
Merlin has always carried a certain meaning for us — wisdom, a little mystery, and the sense that things are not always what they appear on the surface. That felt right for a space where we try to look a little deeper than the obvious angle.
A note to our readers
If you’ve made it this far, thank you. We write for people like you — people who still read past the headline, who appreciate a sentence that actually means something. We don’t take that lightly.
If you ever want to reach us — with feedback, a story idea, or just to say something — we’re at merlinphysio8@gmail.com. We read everything.
